Stress is now a major problem in many countries around the world. What are some of the factors in modern society that cause this stress, and how can we reduce it?

Stress is a problem that can have detrimental effects on many people’s lives, and there are various factors in modern society responsible for this. However, there are ways to limit the potential impacts.
The modern world we live in today presents us with many issues that we did not have to cope with in the past. Firstly, there are issues of terrorism that we are constantly confronted with in the media. Whether these are real or not, we are led to believe our lives are in constant danger, be it flying on a plane or travelling on public transport. Climate change is another worry that everyone has to face. The results of a significant rise in temperatures could radically affect our ways of life, and our children’s too. There are also more health issues to be concerned about than in the past, with rises in Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and stroke to name but a few. All of these concerns can result in stress.
Tackling such problems will not be easy, but there are measures that can be taken. Governments and the media could play their part by ensuring that instead of persistently bombarding us with such negative images and information about the world in which we live, we are given more positive stories too. However, given this is unlikely to happen, we need to develop our own strategies to distract us from these influences. Of course exercising regularly is one thing we should do as this has been shown to increase endorphins levels and lead to feelings of happiness. Sleeping enough helps us to recuperate and restore our body. Finally, eating properly can improve our health and result in less worry about potential diseases.
All in all, although there are many factors around us today which lead to stress, we can take steps to reduce it. Given that the strains we face in modern society will likely get worse, ignoring it is not an option for many people.

Some people think it is more important for government to spend public money on promoting healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on the treatment of people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

An often debated topic is whether the government should use state budget for promoting healthy lifestyle to limit illness or spend it on the treatment of the people who are already ill. In my opinion, a healthy life style as well as timely medical attention and cure for any illness of citizens are equally important.
To begin with, to maintain the healthy lifestyle of all citizens should be the main concern of the government. To prevent ailments from occurring, thay have to set up an early warning system to advice people how to avoid contracting. Taking pandemic H1N1 as an example, when the government informs all citizens from initial days about the dangers of this epidemic, virus therefor was unavailable to spread and the well-being of many people could be maintained. In addition, the government has to encourage people to lead completely healthy lives to minimize the possibilities of getting ill. National and local health campaign need to be launched to educate people understand the risks of using alcohol and cigarettes.
However, curing people who suffer from illness is very important as well. Everyone has the civil right to have access to medical system regardless of their health status. As all citizens have already paid money through the tax system, no one should be excluded from any service. Moreover, when treating people with physical ailment, doctors could be able to find new more effective ways to prevent the pandemic flu. From historical evidence, many medical breakthroughs are created from the process of curing people. Hence, the government should take all reasonable measures to help people who are sick.
By way of conclusion, I strongly believe that the government should give equal attention to promoting healthy lifestyle of people and curing them from illness.

People who live in large cities face a range of problems in their daily life. What are the most significant of these problems? How can these problems be tackled?

Large cities are considered a place of major civilization, with overcrowded of the population. Commonly, cities give mainly such opportunities as offering plenty jobs and quality education. At the same time, such cities have their drawbacks with which people face every day. In this essay, I will introduce most significant problems in big cities with which it habitants face in their daily life and I will give some ideas for tackling such challenges.
Firstly, people in large cities claim that they every day suffer from traffic congestion . Similarly, people often at least twice time in a day have a deal with hush-hour traffic. Moreover it leads to traffic accidents and drive car in such conditions is dangerously. To tackle this problem government should take some meashures. As a way government should set up more traffic lights and also should allocate driveway for public transport and for other cars separetely.
Another issue that in large cities crime steadily increasing and it becomes dangerous walking through the dark streets at night. In such cities every day committed thefts and various serious offences. The problem becomes worse and worse and as a solution is for the government can be increase a number of police in more crime places. As a result it can prevent crime and decrease a number of offences.
The third significant challenge that in large cities the cost of living more expenses than in countryside. Clearly, this is can be difficult afford yourself many things seeing high prices, particularly for the poor since in big cities there is a gap between poor and rich. The forward way for the government might be to help poor people by special social programs or increase supply to the product and living and in this way prices on such needs will fall.
To sum up, at the same time with good opportunities in large cities people face with several problems in their daily life. Clearly, government can solve these issues and improve living conditions in big cities. Personally, I consider that cities is good for getting a quality education and creating a good career, but it depends on you if you couldn't accustomed to stress and other drawbacks in such cities so living there is not for you.

Causes of the road accidents and solutions.

Road accident is a global tragedy with the ever-rising trend. Almost every day, we hear the news of the accident on the television, radio and internet. Most people continue to negligent and ignore the danger involved in their driving and so, these accidents happen. This essay will discuss all the possible causes and solution of the road accidents.
To begin with, carelessness is one of the major cause of the road accident in our planet. Under carelessness, we have various examples, which include, using the mobile phone while the vehicle in moving, break the traffic rules and entering from the side road into the path of the vehicle. Furthermore, when inexperience and untrained drivers and those with blur eyesight that drive at night is one of the major cause of escalating accident rate in our world. In addition, most of the people drive after drinking alcohol, which may lead to dangerous road accident.
Issue that need to be considered in order to curb accidents are policies made by government to make sure that road are well constructed and maintained. In addition, enforcement of appropriate legislation to make sure that all commercial and private drivers should be well trained before they attain driving licence to drive on the street. Furthermore, passenger should also be vigilant enough to check drivers when they are over speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. Police can play the pivotal role to decrease the ratio of the accidents.
To sum up, there are many causes of the road accidents in our world, with good strategies and with the participation of the both government and individual; we can easily overcome with this potential problem.

In the recent years, the consumption of fast food is enhancing "by leaps and bounds'.Some proportion of masses assert that it is fruitful,by contrast, other say it have negative impact. On this hot potato topic,I would adore to discuss arguments for both sides of this statement.

To begin with, the main advantage of fast food,First and foremost, fast food offers easy to prepare.IN this rat race of achieving money and success.People have no enough time for preparation of food. So,they will take pre packed food products, which have manifold fruitful like as easy to prepare, labelled methods on it,how to prepare it.moreover, everyone every one requires change.Because change is 'spice of life.Fast food offers us change"by and large".People bored from traditional food style, they want change in food style. In addition, variety of product provides by fast food companies ,which makes parties superb,As well as,encourage hotel industries.Which meets too much production fast food varieties
Conversely, fast food has drawbacks also.It can be seen that fast food cause manifold perilous health problems .It is medically proved that, fast food contains some artificial ingredients, which lead to harmful diseases such as-obesity,heart problems, liver infections and so on,further more, the consumption level of fast food achieving towering success, which is deleterious for traditional food style .people are forgetting traditional food culture and energetic products. As well as,they prefer fast food overweight traditional food
In a nutshell,it is generally acknowledge that'every coin has two aspects'.the consumption of fast food disadvantages over-weigh its advantages. So we should prevent our from too much fast food consumption habits. As well as,we should consume fast food in limit quantity. and use traditional food much. Moreover, government should restriction on that companies which produce artificial products.Last but not the least,we must be kept in mind the impacts of fast foods products. When we consume it.

Smoking not only harms the smoker, but also those who are nearby. Therefore, smoking should be banned in public places. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Medical studies have shown that smoking not only leads to health problems for the smoker, but also for people close by. As a result of this, many believe that smoking should not be allowed in public places. Although there are arguments on both sides, I strongly agree that a ban is the most appropriate course of action.
Opponents of such a ban argue against it for several reasons. Firstly, they say that passive smokers make the choice to breathe in other people’s smoke by going to places where it is allowed. If they would prefer not to smoke passively, then they do not need to visit places where smoking is permitted. In addition, they believe a ban would possibly drive many bars and pubs out of business as smokers would not go there any more. They also argue it is a matter of freedom of choice. Smoking is not against the law, so individuals should have the freedom to smoke where they wish.
However, there are more convincing arguments in favour of a ban. First and foremost, it has been proven that tobacco consists of carcinogenic compounds which cause serious harm to a person’s health, not only the smoker. Anyone around them can develop cancers of the lungs, mouth and throat, and other sites in the body. It is simply not fair to impose this upon another person. It is also the case that people’s health is more important than businesses. In any case, pubs and restaurants could adapt to a ban by, for example, allowing smoking areas .
In conclusion, it is clear that it should be made illegal to smoke in public places. This would improve the health of thousands of people, and that is most definitely a positive development.

Levels of youth crime are increasing rapidly in most cities around the world. What are the reasons for this, and suggest some solutions.

Over the last few decades, many cities around the world have seen alarming increases in the levels of youth crime. This essay will discuss the reasons for this and provide some possible solutions.

The first reason is connected with the family. In order for a child to grow up in a balanced way, it is very important that he or she is nurtured well by his or her parents. However, these days, it is often the case that children are neglected. This may be because of the fact that many parents in cities now both have to work so are often not around to give their children support when needed. Another factor is the increasing levels of poverty around the world. We have seen with globalization the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and this inevitably means that those who are poorer will have to resort to illegal means to get what others have. Of course, this will include the children in the poorer families.

However, there are ways to tackle such problems. Firstly, one of the ways to combat the problem is to have stricter punishments. Although, as discussed above, it can be outside factors that lead to crime, it is still important to have severe punishments to deter teenagers from crime. All too often, because they are young, the courts are too lenient. Parents also have to take more responsibility for their children’s actions. They too should be punished if their children commit crime.

To sum up, several factors have led to increases in youth crime, but measures are available to tackle this problem.

The percentage of overweight children in western society has increased by almost 20% in the last ten years.Discuss the causes and effects of this disturbing trend.

Over the last ten years, western societies have seen close to a 20% rise in the number of children who are overweight. This essay will discuss some reasons why this has occurred and examine the consequences of this worrying trend.
The main cause of this problem is poor diet. Over the last decade there has been a prolific increase in the number of fast food restaurants. For example, on nearly every high street there is a MacDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut. The food in these places has been proven to be very unhealthy, and much of the advertising is targeted at children, thus ensuring that they constitute the bulk of the customers of these establishments. However, it is not only due to eating out, but also the type of diet many children have at home. A lot of food consumed is processed food, especially with regards to ready-made meals which are a quick and easy option for parents who are working hard.
The effects of this have been and will continue to be very serious. Firstly, there has been a large increase in health related diseases amongst children, especially diabetes. This debilitating illness means a child has to be injected with insulin for the rest of their life. Not only this, very overweight children often experience bullying from other children, which may affect their mental health. The negative stigma of being overweight may also affect self-esteem.
To sum up, it is evident that there are several causes of obesity amongst children, and a variety of negative effects. Society must ensure steps are taken to prevent this problem from deteriorating further.

In many countries, the proportion of older people is steadily increasing. Does this trend have positive or negative effects on society?

Article 1

The demographic shifts will have a huge impact on almost every aspect of public life. And this has become a serious concern to many countries. Personally, i believe the detrimental effect of the challenge outweighs the positive effect.
Advocates in favour of this phenomenon indicate that older people can provide more valuable experiences and skills to the communities. For example, people find elders are good at teaching and consulting because of their highly skilled communication skills and sound academic knowledge. Thus, it is often the case that most of the primary schools tend to recruit aged employees for a better teaching quality. Apart from that, the ageing population leads to the extension of working life, thereby reducing the demand for pensions
On the other hand, however, it is the negative influence of this social phenomenon that worries people the most. Firstly, the demographic shift is believed to have a strong correlation with the rising unemployment figures. With the number of elders grows, which promotes the country to raise the statutory retirement age. Thus, an increasing number of young graduates are less likely to seek unemployment. Secondly, another problem associated with an ageing society is that health care costs will escalate, imposing a burden on tax payers. For instance, the government is required to allocate more budgets for age-care centre facilities, and qualified workers.
In brief, the considerable extension of life expectancy has been regarded as the major contributing factor to unemployment and ever-increased health care expenses. Nevertheless, elders can make efforts to the society through their skills and experiences.

Article 2

In present-day society, there is an increase in the proportion of elderly due to the improved healthcare.Well equipped medical facility extends a person's live, however, the rising number of senior citizens have more negative effects on the society.

It is universally acknowledged that the growth in the proportion of senior citizens brings burden on the governments. In many countries, governments need to spend more money on healthcare system due to the rising needs. Sometimes, this may causes the governments put in less efforts on education or other areas as dozens of money is required on the infrastructure and "old homes". Furthermore, elderly tend to receive pensions every month in many countries. This will causes the young workers feel dissatisfied and strike which lead further financial problems to the governments.

An upward trend of the proportion of elderly brings burden on families too. When there is less youth in a family, the stress level will be increased as he or she have heavy responsibility. In addition, while families have more elderly to care for, less resources will be given to their children. Besides this, countries's work force will be decreased, thus many countries face financial crisis and working adults need to pay more and more taxes until they have enough trouble paying their own basic needs. Further, the age of retirement will extend a few years more.

To sum up, ageing population is an unchangeable trend in contemporary society, thus it is essential for the governments to pinpoint the effective remedies.

Article 3

It is undeniably believed that the developed technology and sufficient welfare have magnificently provided a great chance for having mankind life extended. Combining with the fact that young couples tend not to breed, elderly individuals are now occupying an increasing percentage of the world population. Supported by a number of sociologists and economists, ageing population issue will generate negative impacts on the world such as enlarging the government expenditure and reducing the workforce efficiency.
First of all, subsidizing senior citizens costs governments and tax-payers massive amount of money. For instance, it was stated by The Economist that pension is now the largest expense of social welfare budget of European governments. Despite the advantages it brings, this amount of expenditure is an insurmountable burden to the government deficit and can therefore, slow down the growth of national economy. Hence, a high proportion of ageing population can do harm to already harsh national economy, especially during the recent economic recession in Europe. Additionally, ageing population can also reduce the efficiency of labour force.
Going into details, according to The Economist, one senior citizen needs two or more juniors to be taken care of, particularly the sick. As a result, looking after ageing people expends a great amount of labour forces which could otherwise profit companies and governments. Therefore, provided that labour force could be emancipated from caring the elderly, a more efficient and productive society could thereby created.
To sum up, it is evident that the positive effects of high aged ratio are more in comparison of its negative impacts.

As they grow older, adults often like to think back on their childhood days. Are children and primary school days the best times in a person’s life?

Article 1

Depending on personal experiences, personality type and emotional concern, it can be found that some people hold the idea of thinking on childhood and primary school times as their best days of their life, however, others prefer the adulthood lifestyle. On my point of view, both parts of a person’s life are similar to one extent.

On one hand, responsibilities are always present in both stages of life. In childhood, for example, it is not only relaxation and play time, for schools assign a great deal of homework everyday with their respective due times, to keep children busy and learning to accomplish task on time. These assignments keep them from having fun. Similarly, grown-ups have to cope with a multiple tasks from work which are required to keep themselves employed. Then, this management of productive time versus entertainment can be relatively seen as the same on both cases, namely childhood and adulthood.

On the other hand, not everything is work. After a day full of homework, children relax themselves playing with their peer group or simply resting the rest of the day at home. The same sorts of activities are done by adults but at different places, such as bars, pubs or clubs. Thus, both enjoy of a nice time hanging out; forgetting the hard day past. As this shows, children as well as adults have their particular similar way to entertain themselves.

In conclusion, in both stages of one’s life exist plenty of amusement but also tough times. It would depend on people’s own experience to prefer one from another, but for me, the whole life is a fascinating journey with lows and ups.

Article 2

Every individual’s life is going in a faster pace, Family time, social life, work and even relaxations or recreation time is quickly happening. People love to traverse through their childhood memories. I consent that childhood and primary school days are best part of our life because it is used to be very simple and happier then now
Albeit, there are few drawbacks being a child. There is no power to take decisions for their own life. Even the clothes they wear are chosen by parents. We can’t go out for a trip without parents’ permission. Additionally lack of understanding tends to make more mistakes. This occurs due to less knowledge about life and low level of maturity.
Here is the positive side of remaining a child. First and foremost benefit is there are no responsibilities apart from taking care of themselves. It is not case with the parents who are overburdened with their duties leaving no time for themselves, when I was a small kid I used to play a lot. I liked to spend time with my friends playing outdoor games, video games and gossiping on top of that you can sleep as much as you want. Parents force their children to go to bed early whereas during adulthood there is lack of sleep. Most important, children are free birds and there is nothing to worry about and stress free.
Childhood is the most memorable part of our lives. Adults think about their beautiful experience occurred in their childhood. I strongly believe that childhood & primary school days the best times in a person’s life.

Many people believe that women make better parents than men and that this is why they have a greater role in raising children in most societies. Others claim that men are just as good as women at parenting. Write an essay expressing your point of view. Give reasons for your answer.

Article 1

A child is born to two parents – a man and a woman. Both sexes play a crucial role in raising the child. Although fathers can make excellent parents, in my opinion, mothers are in reality better parents based on their natural intuition and compassionate tendencies.
Firstly, for a wide variety of socio-cultural reasons, women tend to have more intuitive intelligence than men. It is this intuition that enables the mother to know when her child needs her.In addition, women often know how to read non-verbal signals in human behaviour, which can alert them to issues and problems in the child’s life. All of these “perceptive skills” play a major role in making the mother a close, responsible and responsive parent.
Secondly, most mothers share a inimitable bond with their children. Perhaps this bond arises during the nine months of pregnancy; perhaps it is reinforced through the act of breastfeeding. Whatever the cause, there often appears to be a lifelong silver chord or psychic connection between mother and child. As a result, the mother is able to evaluate the child’s actions from the viewpoint of his/her intentions, and not just results. This empathy is priceless and cannot easily be replicated. Although fathers may form deep loving bonds with their children, they may not be able to match the depth of closeness shared by mother and child.
In conclusion, although both parents are certainly capable of caring for the child, the mother often makes a better parent. Anyone who has experienced the unconditional acceptance of a mother’s love can bear witness to this reality.

Article 2

The view that women are better parents than men has shown itself to be true throughout history. This is not to say that men are not of importance in child- rearing indeed, they are most necessary if children are to appreciate fully the roles of both sexes. But women have proven themselves superior parents as a result of their conditioning, their less aggressive natures and their generally better communication skills.
From the time they are little girls, females learn about nurturing. First with dolls and later perhaps with younger brothers and sisters, girls are given the role of carer. Girls see their mothers in the same roles and so it is natural that they identify this as a female activity. Boys, in contrast, learn competitive roles far removed from what it means to nurture. While boys may dream of adventures, girls' conditioning means they tend to see the future in terms of raising families.
Girls also appear to be less aggressive than boys. In adulthood, it is men, not women, who prove to be the aggressors in crime and in war. Obviously, in raising children, a more patient, gentle manner is preferable to a more aggressive one. Although there certainly exist gentle men and aggressive women, by and large, females are less likely to resort to violence in attempting to solve problems.
Finally, women tend to be better communicators than men. This is shown is intelligence tests, where females, on average, do better in verbal communication than males. Of course, communication is of utmost importance in rearing children, as children tend to learn from and adopt the communication styles of their parents.
Thus, while it is all very well to suggest a greater role for men in raising children, let us not...

Article 3

Parenting is an art which requires many qualities in person. This quality comes by experience in parents. I believe that both mother and father plays equal role in raising children’s life. There is a famous quote that experience makes a person perfect. In addition perfection is first point towards a good parenting. However every person has his own areas of perfection therefore I suggest that Children should be taught by their parents according to their perfection area. Here in this essay I will present my view to support my argument.
To begin with, some people say that Mother’s plays important role in teaching children how to respect elders and love younger which is natural quality of a woman. Apart from that children learn to manage home work from mother because mothers are more engaged in these activities. In addition mothers can easily handle a child during health problems compared to father.
However, other people say that Father is responsible to teach children how to do hard work, establishing fighting spirit in worst situations. Because father is responsible to work out side and he has more experience in these area which plays significant role in parenting. Apart from father is believed to be strict compared to mother who keeps children in discipline.
To sum up, I recommend equal attention from both father and mother towards their children during children’s formative edge. Moreover splitting responsibility gives both parents enough time to teach children. Which give good result in raising children’ life.

Article 4

Both father and mother play significant role in nurturing and teaching children. Yet, there remains some disagreements so as to whether women or men do better parental obligation. Personally I support the concept that parental role is implemented more completely by women.
To begin with, mothers occupy some exclusive roles which can not be took place by fathers. They give children precious things due to bodily function men do not own. For example, only women overcome the prenatal period and suffer from postnatal pain to bring their babies to life. Furthermore, just mothers provide children initial power to survive which refers to breast milk being the source of anti-body for immune system and nutrition of infants.

Admittedly, it could also be said that men also participate in nurturing children. Patriarch are breadwinner, their revenue can be paid for children's tuition fee, food. Moreover the men cooperate with their wife to teach their kids. An illustration of this is father teaching children how to solve an exercises. Nevertheless, women are closer to their children than men so that they have more influences on offspring. Women care about every stage in children's development.
For example, mothers impatiently teach children how to talk and subsequently their kids prattle the first words, they release positive emotion. Obviously, matriarchs spend more time associating with their kids than anyone else and hence perceive if there are something wrong with them and give sensible and helpful advice and keep protect them from jeopardy.

To sum up, it is said that "men make houses women make homes". Both of them are important to build a happy family but maternal role is essential in raising children.

Article 5

Parents have an important role to bring children up. Some people claim that with strong health and higher economy, fathers will teach children becoming good person while others believe that father and mother have equally importance in raising children. I agree with the latter notion for following reasons.

First of all, it is undeniable that mothers have no replacement position in nurturing and teaching children. With having mother instinct, mothers can recognize when children meet troubles in life. Therefore, they will give meaningful advice helping children to solve problems. All of these perceptive skills which discriminate between mother and father, make mothers to comfort in responsible and responsive parents. Besides, mothers share not only nutrient but also emotion with their children in during the nine month of pregnancy. Thanks to exist that connection between mothers and children, mothers can become excellent parents. Moreover, economically speaking, nowadays, having promising prospects, mothers can provide money for children to pursue their dream.

On the other hand, fathers also participate in nurturing children. Fathers have strong psychology which children can rely on in difficult times. In addition, fathers provide the best condition finance which helps children to apply for good university or even start their own business career at the early age because the father has the breadwinner of the family. Equally important, fathers have social relationships more than mothers and are more aware of social issues, so they can guide their children on every step of children’s life.

In conclusion, traditional gender roles in family are gradually changing. However, I still believe that both mother and father are equally importance at children’s successful rearing.

IELTS Writing Tips

  • Work with a teacher. Write several sample essays and have them corrected by a teacher. You cannot prepare for the writing section of the IELTS alone, as you have no way of receiving feedback on your errors. If you are short on money, at least invest in a teacher or class to prepare for the writing and speaking sections of the IELTS, and then do the listening and reading sections on your own by working with a good preparatory IELTS guidebook.
  • Read the questions very carefully. Often the question will ask you to do three or four different things, aside from the main question. Jot them down and make sure you address all of them in your answer. The IELTS examiner will be checking for this.
  • Practice writing tasks within the given time limits. It really doesn't matter if you can write a beautiful answer in two hours. Always recreate the conditions of the exam as closely as possible, when doing any kind of practice exercises.
  • Plan before you write. Even though you feel under pressure for time, spend the first few minutes planning your writing. Decide what you're going to say and how you'll expand on it. When you know what to write, you can concentrate on how to write it best. Experiment with the great variety of outlining and mind-mapping techniques to help you sketch out a plan quickly.
  • Write in an organized way. When you've planned in advance, you'll end up with a more organized, logical piece of writing, which will earn you higher marks. There are many ways to be organized – linear, circular, etc. – but in the end the final product must be cohesive.
  • Stay on topic. You will be penalized if you stray off topic. This is where the initial few minutes of planning can help you a great deal.
  • Divide your writing into paragraphs. It is confusing to be faced with a block of writing, with no divisions. You wouldn't expect to read a magazine article or book like this. Always divide your writing into paragraphs.
  • Write clearly. This is not the time or place to experiment with new vocabulary or idioms. Use simple, clear English to get your ideas across in a powerful way.
  • Write legibly. Though marks are not granted or taken away for poor or messy writing, the examiner should be able to read what you have written without undue difficulty.
  • Spell correctly. Yes, this does affect your score so avoid careless mistakes. A careless mistake is when you have spelt the same word in various ways in the same piece of writing or when you misspell a word which is already given in the exam topic and all you have to do is copy it correctly. That's not okay. Watch for this when you're practising and resolve to overcome it.

A gift (such as a camera, a soccer ball, or an animal) can contribute to a child’s development. What gift would you give to help a child develop? Why? Use reasons and specific examples to support your choice.

People learn and develop throughout their entire lives. I think that in our modern world it is very essential to be familiar with computer technology. So, if I had a chance to give a child a gift it would be a computer. I think that computers play an essential role in our lives and they bring many benefits to our society. Moreover, children can learn by use of computers. In the following paragraphs I will give my reasons to support my answer.
First of all, by use of computers children can play many games, which help to improve children's ability to think logically, think about their next step, etc. Moreover, playing games develop many important qualities such as attention, patience, persistent, etc. Second of all, computers help children to learn more about anything by use of Internet. They can find new friends even from another country. Children will improve their communication skills, gain more knowledge and experience. Also, children have a great opportunity to learn more about other countries, their history, traditions and customs. Finally, computer skills can help a child to find his or her first job. A child can find an ad in the Internet about a job offer or he or she can make a resume and place it in the Internet. Personally, I think it is a great experience and big step forward towards a future career.
In addition to those practical benefits, computer technology helps children to do their homework faster. They can type their data into the computer, easily check the grammar, correct mistakes and then print it out. Moreover, there are plenty different kinds of educational programs that can help children learn how to read, write, draw and even how to behave and speak a foreign language.
To sum up, I believe that children should learn how to use computer because this knowledge will help them in the future to be more self-confident and enterprising. Furthermore, computers can greatly improve and simplify their lives if children know how to use them.
